Broadway tickets?

How early do I need to need to be at South Street Seaport and Times Square Tix booth to still get decent tickets? I will be arriving in NY on Friday afternoon for the weekend.

Broadway tickets?dream theater

TheTKTS booth doesn't have tickets for all shows - they've never sold tickets for "Wicked" for example. The people who are at the beginning of the line are going to snatch up the tickets for the better shows. You have to have a few alternatives on your list. Remember to bring cash - they don't take credit cards. If you are interested in a play that isn't a musical, there is a separate line for that and it's much, much shorter

Here are some sites with Broadway discount codes - you have to enroll, but membership is free. See if they are listing shows and prices that you are interested in - much better than standing on line and not being sure what you will be able to get tickets for. Also, consider seeing an Off-Broadway show - some of them are wonderful, the theatres are nice and they cost much less.
